Since this was my first production as a draper with a team I took a little extra time to pattern test before moving into the mockup. After the mockup fitting minor changes such as adjusting the hem and sleeve length were needed.

We built two versions of the same dress. One in plain white and the other in rust-dyed fabric. The rust dye was completed prior to cutting by Suzanne Janes. Though both dresses started out in the same fabric the drape changed significantly enough after dying to create different alterations between the two. Most notably, the white was more droopy than the rust.

Twirl Tests

After a suggestion from designer, Abbie Hagen, I was given the opportunity to try 3D printing accessories. Specifically, the cop badges and accessories for Cladwell featuring the Urine Good Company logo created by the scenic designer, Andrea Ball.

These 3D printing files were created by blending two other files. One I created from clipart and one I found online at thingiverse.com. "The Stinker" by carvellwakeman file can be found here. Production photos below.
